I know some people do create two or three or more than three orkut accounts and when they think that they can not handle the pressure, there is only one way, Yes deleting your orkut account. Some create orkut just to know how it works and is it good or bad, when they think that they are on a wrong place to socialize with people, they always look for this option.

Now the big question arises, where this option is? Yes it is there but you need to find it. If you really want to delete your orkut account you should keep one thing in mind that you can not get that account back. Yes you will lose all your friends and scraps as well. In future if you will come back to orkut again, orkut will ask you to sign up.

Now I will tell you the steps to delete an account on orkut.

Please follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Login to your orkut account home page. You must be on Old Orkut, if you are on new orkut then click on older version on top right of the page.

Step 2: Click on settings on the left of your orkut home page.

Step 3: Click on Delete My Orkut Account on the bottom of the page.

Step 4: GIve your confirmation by clicking on Delet My Account. 

That is all what you need to do on your end, after this orkut will take care of your request and your account will be deleted soon. You are not supposed to login to orkut after this request.

How To Ignore A Friend On Orkut:

It seems that some people do not know how to ignore a friend on orkut. Yes Orkut is one of the leading social networking sites and it contains all the necessary features for convenience of users. It takes care  of all needs of users and that is why it is one of the best. 

If I only talk about the ignore option on Orkut, I think it is necessary to have this kind of  an option on Orkut or on any Social Networking site. We all know sometimes we accept friends on Orkut and they turn out to be really irritating and sometimes we do not want to interact with  some people for any reason, at that point of time we think how can we get rid of these people. Yes it is really a nail biter question. But as you know Orkut always takes into consideration all the user needs therefor, it provide us with ignore option.

We can simply ignore and that person will not be able to send a friend request and scraps as well. It really seems a good option isn't it? 

But now the big question arises and that is how can we ignore somebody on Orkut? 

Yes some people do know about this option however they do not know where it is located and how to ignore somebody in their friendlist. Yes I have also spent a lot of time in finding this option. And now I'm going to tell you 

how can you Ignore your friends on Orkut.

Please follow the steps given below:

For New Orkut Users:

Step 1: Open your Profile and go to your friend's profile to whom you want to ignore.

Step 2: On the left you will see three options under actions tab.

Step 3: Click on the second option which is "Ignore User". In future, if you wish to unignore that person you can simply go to your friend's profile and click on "Unignore User".

For Old Orkut Users:

Step 1: Open your Profile and go to your friend's profile to whom you want to ignore.

Step 2: On the left you will get more options tab. Click on it you will get a list of options.

Step 3: At the of the list you will get "Ignore User" option. Click on it and that person would be added to your ignore list.
